We volunteer in many areas to help Operation Christmas Child reach millions of underprivileged children with gifts packed in shoe boxes, with many items we take so for granted. Each shoe box gift is a tangible expression of God's love, letting the children know that they are special, they are loved and they are not forgotten. We not only touch the children with material blessings, but we share the love of Jesus with a copy of THE GREATEST GIFT, which introduces them to Jesus. It is written in their own language. Last year over 11 million children in over 109 countries received a shoe box gift. This is a great way for our children to touch the life of another child and be willing to share with them some of what we so abundantly have.
